{Hebrews 10:19-22; NLT}
And so, dear brothers and sisters, we can boldly enter heaven’s Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus. By his death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place. And since we have a great High Priest who rules over God’s house, let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water.

The world is perishing for a lack of the knowledge of God and the church is famishing for want of His Presence. The instant cure of most of our religious ills would be to enter into the Presence in spiritual experience, to become suddenly aware that we are in God and that God is in us. This would lift us out of our pitiful narrowness and cause our hearts to be enlarged. This would burn away the impurities from our lives as the bugs and fungi were burned away by the fire that dwelt in the bush.

Questions to consider:

  • Why can we boldly enter into the presence of God?
  • How do we experience the presence of God in our lives?
  • Why is the presence of God so important for our spiritual development?
